Colorful and Unique Mehndi-Inspired Cookies

Entertaining & Parties, Wedding Details & Ideas

Mendhi is the application of henna as a temporary tattoo and it’s quite stunning.  We’re used to seeing intricate patterns of mendhi applied to brides before their wedding ceremony.  However, we’ve spied mendhi designs on one of our favorite dessert: cookies!

Mendhi-inspired cookies don’t get any more colorful than the pastel Royal icing, lemon cookies we found by sugarsugargal:

Sprinkle Bakes created this pretty mendhi design on hand-shaped, spice cookies:

Sweet, lavender tea cookies found on Sugar Bea’s blog are sure to be a huge hit:

Traditional, round sugar cookies are spruced up with an application of Royal icing mendhi from Bake Fresh:

The different shapes, black icing and vibrant mendhi patterns make these cookies from City Sweets & Confections stand out from the crowd:

Consider beautiful, mendhi-inspired cookies for a lovely dessert buffet or yummy favor for a bridal shower or wedding!
