Long after the wedding gown is preserved and the wedding album is tucked away, couples may forget a few details of their wedding.  Most likely, they will not forget the guests who failed to give them a gift, according to The New York Times.  It stings when a dear family member or friend enjoys the wedding and doesn’t give a gift.  Often the wedding guest simply forgets, rather than purposely snubbing the newlyweds.  Still, it’s something the couple will never forget, possibly leading to resentment that affects the relationship.  As a wedding guest, always give a gift no matter how big or small.
