The way we’re celebrating is shifting. For some couples, this means smaller & more intimate celebrations. Choosing a micro wedding (fewer than 30 guests) enables you to host a luxurious yet effortless affair for your nearest and dearest. By keeping the guest count low, we streamline and simplify the planning process, enabling you to enjoy your celebration, with the people who matter most.

what is a 

MICRO WEDDING?

A micro wedding is an intimate celebration with thirty or fewer guests. The focus is on the most important element the day — your wedding ceremony, rather than everything else. More than an elopement, a micro wedding is a refreshing and simplified way to celebrate.

what’s included in a 

MICRO WEDDING?

Each celebration includes the following: venue fees, officiant, photographer, music, ceremony florals, personal flowers for the couple, a champagne toast, cake and rentals, hand picked by the Intimate I Dos team. Each wedding is beautifully designed, fully planned, thoughtfully curated for you. Once your micro wedding is complete, we suggest you enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner at your favorite restaurant — and we have plenty of recommendations there, too!

WHERE?

We hand select the perfect venues in the Bay Area and offer a handful of dates and times. We aim to select spots where you’ll have iconic Northern California backdrops for your photos. Stay tuned for announcements regarding this year’s dates and locations.

 

how long is a

MICRO WEDDING?

A micro wedding is tailored to the most important parts of the day. A typical experience is about 90 minutes and consists of the following: 

– 15 minute ceremony

– 45 minute reception

– 30 minute couple’s photo shoot

how does a

MICRO WEDDING WORK?

Micro weddings work by trusting our team to completely streamline the planning process for you. This means the Intimate I Dos team selects the creative resources to produce each day and conceives the overall design concept, based on the venue and time of year. Approximately four couples get married on the same day, but rest assured that the time of day that you choose is exclusive to you and your guests. We recommend booking early to get your desired time slot.

WEDDING COST?

An investment in your micro wedding starts at $8,000. The final cost is dependent on the venue selected, and you’ll also have a few choices to tailor the day to your specific needs.

AMY

Amy Nichols is a wedding planner and event planner in San Francisco, California.  Amy has been planning bespoke weddings and celebrations for over a decade. A graduate of Middlebury College, she began her career in finance in New York City and quickly realized her affinity for well-appointed details. From there, she made her way to California, where her eye for design and her welcoming personality have earned her a sterling reputation.
